Our contest is over, and the winner has been chosen: ABC - About Blog Contest is the lucky recipient of $25 via PayPal.
Congratulations to ABC, and thanks to everyone else who entered and participated. We will let you know (and post an article here) if and when we run another contest.
How the winner was chosen:
We wrote a simple php script that filled an array with one element for each point that each site got. (So a site with 30 points had 30 spots in the array, for example.) That array was then shuffled, and one element extracted at random. It was run only once; the resulting winner ABC was chosen. We then ran the script a few more times to make sure it worked, and it did, so that first winner is indeed the lucky one.

Just a note to go along with the note on the contest page — our $25 contest has finished, and we can’t accept any more websites to it.
Thanks to all who entered. The winner has not been chosen yet — because visitors’ eBay activity factors in, we have to wait 7 days after the contest’s end (which was October 15) to properly add up the points due to eBay’s 7-day cookie. We will be choosing a winner and sending out the prize money on or shortly after October 22.

Just add a link to your blog (by writing a post about the site, about the contest, etc; or a link in your sidebar, etc) and you’ll enter the chance to win $25 in the drawing after the contest ends on October 15, 2008.
You don’t have to have a stamp blog, or even a collecting blog; any blog or site is eligible. The more visitors you send, the higher your chance of winning. For this reason a collecting blog might get more visitors, but it only takes one to win!
